Reporting into the GBI Commercial Excellence team, you will work closely with sales, finance, marketing and category teams, as well as the Northern Europe function, to create synergies across markets, including GB, and influence triple-win outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing Fuel for Growth strategies, leveraging tools and operating rhythm, and implementing management monitoring to embed a trade investment and return culture across all sales channels.
- Playing an active role in the market Core Commercial Cycle, building a deep understanding of the P&L and its drivers, and influencing results in account forums with sales and multi-functional teams driving brand growth.
- Identifying and influencing opportunities for value creation across SKU, range, distribution, optimisation, mix management, cost reduction, investment and terms, price, promo and feature.
- Conducting detailed analysis across RGM levers by major brands and categories, including company and competitor pricing, product offerings, pack variations, SKU mix and portfolio management.
- Monitoring the success of initiatives through scorecarding and KPI tracking, and taking corrective action where needed.

Alongside in-market portfolio pricing management, you will also be responsible for floor pricing execution, ensuring our in-market pricing adheres to area pricing policy.
- Delivering recommendations to continuously refine tactical and strategic activation plans and optimise ROI.
- Leading commercial projects while coaching and supporting the capability of others and wider commercial teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
