Revenues Officer Salary: £30,269 - £32,790
Play a key role in maintaining and managing Council Tax records for more than 100,000 properties across the Sevenoaks and Dartford districts. Our busy and dedicated team handles every aspect of Council Tax administration, from billing and account maintenance through to recovery and enforcement. In this customer-focused role, you'll be the first point of contact for many residents, responding to telephone enquiries, emails, and correspondence relating to all areas of Council Tax. We're looking for someone with an administrative background or an interest in local government and taxation. Most importantly, you'll be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, have strong communication skills, and be able to remain calm and professional when working under pressure. This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days) with core hours 08:45 to 17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:45 to 16:45 Fridays.
