We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Rates officer to join us!
This is a full-time, permanent role, with hybrid working and a salary of £30,193 - £34,104 depending upon experience.

The Role
The Business Rates Officer will report to the Revenues Team Leader but work within a small team dealing with all aspects relating to the accurate and prompt processing of work associated with Business Rates, from the creation of properties or accounts in the databases to the recovery and enforcement of Business Rate arrears.
They must ensure that matters relating to Business Rates are dealt with promptly, balancing the need to support the delivery of a personalised service to businesses with the need to protect the council’s financial interests.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for officers experienced in Business Rates legislation. Experience of the MRI system would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
