Weâre working with a growing Building Services consultancy in Cardiff thatâs looking to bring in an experienced BIM Engineer to support a strong pipeline of commercial, residential, healthcare and mixed-use projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone whoâs confident in Revit and BIM coordination, and wants to take more ownership of project delivery, model management, and BIM standards across live projects.

- Coordinating BIM models across MEP and Building Services projects
- Supporting clash detection and model coordination (Navisworks / BIM workflows)
- Working closely with Mechanical & Electrical design engineers
- Maintaining BIM standards and project documentation
- Supporting design changes and technical drawing updates
- Liaising with internal teams and external consultants where required

Iâm in my final year doing Economics and I donât know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer â it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donât need a masters. Letâs look at the ones youâd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet â that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
