Role Overview

The Reward Analyst will support the Head of Reward in delivering Brooks Macdonald’s reward and benefits activities, with a particular focus on data analysis, modelling, and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone earlier in their career who has strong Excel and analytical capability, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in developing their knowledge of Reward.

The role is heavily data-driven and will involve working with large and complex data sets, supporting key reward processes and helping translate data into clear, meaningful insights for stakeholders. You will work closely with HR, Finance and senior stakeholders, building your understanding of reward frameworks whilst developing your technical and commercial skills.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of key reward processes through data preparation, modelling and analysis (including salary and bonus reviews)
  • Build, maintain and improve Excel models and spreadsheets to support reward decision-making and planning
  • Analyse and manipulate large data sets, ensuring accuracy, consistency and helping to translate complex data into meaningful insights for stakeholders
  • Assist with management of the benefits strategy, maintaining strong relationships with providers to continuously improve the benefits offering
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for senior stakeholders, including Remuneration Committee outputs
  • Support market benchmarking activity and data analysis for salary and benefits insights
  • Assist with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. pay gap reporting), ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work collaboratively with HR, Finance and other teams to support reward-related queries and processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reward processes, systems and data quality

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
