Role

Location: Dunstable (LU5 5XE), hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home/another location) Function: People (Reward) Salary: £41,000 – £50,000 per annum, plus pro-rata benefits dependent on skills and experience, including up to 10% matched pension Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until 27th November 2026

About the Role

At Whitbread, we’re shaping a brighter future for our people. We’re seeking a highly organised and delivery-focused Benefits Project Lead to drive transformational change in how our employees interact with and benefit from their reward offerings.

This exciting opportunity involves leading the implementation and launch of a brand-new employee benefits platform, ensuring a seamless, engaging digital experience for our 30,000+ team members across Support Centre and operational teams. Collaboration with IT, Internal Communications, HR, and external partners will be essential in bringing this project to life and shaping corporate benefits strategy.

Alongside high-profile project management, you’ll champion operational delivery, ensuring our benefits programmes make a real difference for all our people.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery and launch of our new Reward Gateway benefits platform
  • Manage project plans, stakeholder engagement, and supplier relationships for successful implementation
  • Develop and execute engaging communications and awareness campaigns to boost adoption and usage
  • Support operational delivery of key employee benefits, including:
    • Healthcare support
    • Financial wellbeing programmes
    • Employee discounts
    • Recognition schemes
  • Oversee benefits arrangements for staff leaving the business, aligning with programmes and policy
  • Analyse data and employee feedback to provide insights for improving engagement
  • Act as the escalation point for benefits-related queries from colleagues, managers, and HR teams
