Reward Business Partner UK/I
Location: London
The Reward Business Partner will serve as the primary compensation specialist for the UK/Ireland cluster, driving strategic reward initiatives, ensuring compliance, and delivering data-driven compensation solutions across complex EMEA environments.
About the Role
As part of the EMEA Rewards Team, this critical position will:
- Shape competitive and compliant reward practices for the UK/Ireland cluster
- Lead annual salary and incentive cycles, maintaining alignment with global/regional frameworks while addressing local regulations
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing analytics and strategic recommendations
- Support multi-country governance, partner remuneration (LLP structures), and cross-border compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead reward design, implementation & governance for the UK/Ireland cluster, ensuring local laws and market norms are adhered to.
- Localise global/regional reward frameworks while aligning with statutory requirements (e.g., EU PTD, UK gender pay gap compliance).
- Oversee annual salary and incentive cycles, maintaining competitive yet compliant reward policies.
- Conduct job evaluation and assess internal equity, delivering pay equity analysis and statutory reporting.
- Influencing LLP structures: advise on partner remuneration (profit-sharing, drawings, governance) with tax and compliance awareness.
- Support organisational changes, including restructures and mobility (e.g., assignments, transfers), partnering with HR and Tata Mobility teams.
- Benchmark compensation structures across UK/Ireland and support regional/global Rewards projects.
- Provide data-driven insights to guide senior decision-making, balancing cost efficiency with employee engagement.
- Resolve complex reward cases through rigorous evidence-based analysis.
- Drive process improvements to optimise compensation programs.

Requirements & Experience
Essential Experience
- 6+ years in Reward/T&C, with UK & Ireland exposure preferred.
- Your background should cover:
- LLP reward expertise (partner remuneration models, profit-sharing, drawings, entry/exit governance, and tax considerations).
- Core Rewards disciplines: Salary structures, short-term incentive design, job grading frameworks, and market benchmarking.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (UK, Ireland, EU).
Skills & Mindset
- Strategic Advisor: Combine commercial acumen with capability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- Clear Communicator: Translate complex data into concise, persuasive insights for non-technical audiences.
- Data-Driven Analyst: Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large datasets and generating actionable recommendations.
- Detail-Oriented: Intrepid attention to accuracy, compliance, and quality delivery.
- Influential Collaborator: Forges strong HR/business relationships to drive alignment and operational efficiency.
