Job Title: Reward & Benefits Advisor

My client, a mid-tier specialist law firm, with an elite client base, is now looking to recruit a Reward & Benefits Advisor to join their wider HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced reward professional to take ownership of a broad reward remit within a highly respected professional services environment. Working closely with senior leadership and the People team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a competitive reward and benefits offering that supports the attraction, retention, and engagement of exceptional talent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving reward initiatives across the business, providing expert guidance on compensation, benefits, payroll, and reward strategy, while ensuring all programs remain aligned with business objectives and market trends.

As Reward & Benefits Advisor, you will act as the firm's subject matter expert on all aspects of reward, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to deliver effective and commercially focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development and execution of the firm's reward and benefits strategy.
  • Managing annual salary and bonus review processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and effective delivery.
  • Overseeing a range of employee benefits programs, including pensions, healthcare schemes, income protection, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Assisting with reward budgeting and planning activities, providing insight and recommendations where appropriate.
  • Conducting salary benchmarking exercises and analyzing market data to ensure the organization remains competitive.
  • Producing reward-related reports, dashboards, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Managing the monthly payroll process in partnership with external providers, ensuring all submissions are accurate and compliant.
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers and senior stakeholders on compensation, benefits, and reward-related matters.
  • Supporting pay transparency, fairness, and wider diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Leading or contributing to reward projects, including job evaluations, salary structure reviews, and benefits enhancements.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to ensure reward initiatives complement broader people strategies.
  • Ensuring reward policies and practices remain compliant with current employment legislation and regulatory requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
