Rewards Manager

Job Title: Regional Reward Manager Function: Human Resources Location: London, UK Scope: Regional Travel: Occasional Contract: 12 months initial

Role Overview The Regional Reward Manager is responsible for ensuring that reward programmes and policies are aligned with global reward principles while supporting regional and business objectives in a sustainable way. The role delivers competitive, fit‑for‑purpose reward solutions through close collaboration with global and regional stakeholders and provides expert guidance on reward matters to support both short‑term performance and long‑term organisational success. Acting as a trusted reward partner, the role supports regional business leaders and HR teams by ensuring reward practices are effective, compliant, and market‑competitive, while also contributing to global reward initiatives and projects.

Key Impact This role serves as a subject‑matter expert in reward, partnering with regional HR and business leadership to shape and deliver reward solutions that meet current and future business needs. By ensuring reward frameworks, processes, and decisions are consistent, commercially sound, and aligned with global standards, the role helps drive efficiency, equity, and talent sustainability across the region.

The position works closely with global reward specialists and regional HR teams to ensure reward programmes remain relevant, competitive, and aligned with strategic priorities, influencing both immediate outcomes and longer‑term organisational performance.

Key Accountabilities Cyclical Reward Activities Lead end‑to‑end reward cycles, including market competitiveness analysis, pay range reviews, pay equity and living wage assessments, and salary budgeting. Own the design and governance of reward processes, with delivery supported by local HR teams and/or third‑party providers.

Global Reward Projects & Representation Represent the region in global reward initiatives and projects, collaborating with global and regional counterparts, contributing regional insights, and sharing best practice.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnering Partner with regional and country‑level stakeholders to manage reward requirements such as benefits reviews, well‑being initiatives, and policy changes. Engage senior stakeholders to align reward priorities and continuously improve reward outcomes.

Advisory & Decision Support Act as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders on complex reward matters, balancing commercial, talent, and employee considerations while addressing regulatory and collective labour requirements.

Benefits Design & Review Lead regular and ad‑hoc reviews of employee benefits, ensuring offerings remain competitive, sustainable, and aligned with business strategy and market trends.

Job Architecture & Consistency Ensure consistent application of job levelling and grading frameworks across markets, providing guidance and oversight to maintain alignment with global standards.

HR Capability Development Build reward capability within the regional HR community through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing, enabling effective and compliant reward decision‑making.

Reward Data & Reporting Oversee delivery of internal and external reward data requests, including market surveys and regional/global reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge Essential Experience Operating at an experienced managerial level, either leading self or others Minimum of 5 years’ experience in reward and/or a relevant HR discipline Experience working in complex, matrixed, multinational organisations Broad understanding of reward design, market practice, and employment legislation Proven ability to engage, influence, and advise stakeholders at all levels Experience working across different cultural and geographic contexts

Key Skills & Capabilities Reward expertise: Strong knowledge of reward principles, tools, and market practices, and the ability to design solutions aligned to global strategy Project management: Ability to manage multiple deliverables, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders Consultative partnering: Builds trusted, credible relationships and delivers practical, market‑relevant reward advice HR service delivery: Coaches and supports HR teams to operate within governance while identifying process improvements Business acumen: Quickly builds understanding of business priorities and links reward solutions to organisational needs Solution design & delivery: Applies market insight and best practice while anticipating implementation challenges Collaboration: A strong team player who works effectively across functions and geographies

Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
