Expert Rheumatology Specialist – Full-Time Role

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases.

Your key duties will include:

  • Conducting patient consultations
  • Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests
  • Developing comprehensive treatment plans
  • Managing outpatient and inpatient care
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Participating in clinical governance and audit activities
  • Involvement in teaching and training junior staff
  • Remaining updated on the latest advancements in rheumatology
  • Contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Must be GMC registered
  • Extensive experience in rheumatology, including:
    • A high level of competence in diagnosing and managing rheumatic diseases
