We’re looking for a Rider Onboarding Associate to join our UKI team. This is a remote role with significant field-based travel, with positions available across Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, and London. In this role, you’ll work directly on the ground to source and onboard riders, ensuring our marketplace always has the right supply to meet customer demand.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll Be Joining The Rider Enablement Team. We Focus On Building The Foundation Of Our Marketplace By Managing Rider Supply Across The United Kingdom And Ireland, Directly Tackling Logistics And Scaling Challenges To Keep Our Fleet Well-resourced. Here’s What Your Day-to-day Might Look Like

  • Deliver in-person onboarding: Travel across the UKI to lead face-to-face rider onboarding sessions and support operations within our regional Rider Onboarding Hubs.
  • Secure hyper-local supply: Target and resolve rider supply deficits in historically hard-to-source areas to maintain fleet consistency.
  • Manage seasonal demand: Execute targeted supply plans for peak and seasonal trading periods to stay ahead of customer and partner requirements.
  • Optimise onboarding processes: Partner with the Supply and Rider Onboarding teams to iterate processes, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and refine demand forecasting.
  • Enhance the rider experience: Collaborate with the Content & Engagement team to improve the rider value proposition and act as the subject matter expert for onboarding systems.

Essential

What You’ll Need to Thrive

  • Operational capability: Proven experience within a fast-paced environment such as technology, start-ups, food delivery, or direct experience as a Deliveroo Rider.
  • Autonomy and adaptability: A self-starter mindset with the ability to work solo, use your own initiative, and adapt quickly to changing field conditions and priorities.
  • Stakeholder communication: Strong empathetic listening and communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse internal teams and external rider applicants.
  • Logistical flexibility: A valid UKI driving licence and a willingness to travel extensively, including early mornings and late evenings, to support field operations.

Nice to Have

  • Language skills: Professional proficiency in Portuguese or Arabic.
  • Technical tooling: Familiarity with G Suite, Slack, Looker, and Salesforce.

Note: This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) with the possibility of extension. All travel, mileage, and accommodation expenses incurred while in the field will be fully covered by the company.
