Position summary

At Winston Taylor, we don't just manage risk—we enable the firm to move forward with confidence. As a Risk Administrator, you'll be at the heart of that effort, working alongside our Business Acceptance team to keep client and matter onboarding moving, solve issues before they become obstacles, and help protect the integrity of our business.

This is a role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, taking ownership, and finding practical solutions. You'll be trusted to manage critical processes, investigate conflicts and compliance queries, and keep systems and records running efficiently. Every day brings a new challenge, a new stakeholder, and a new opportunity to make an impact.

Position responsibilities

  • Drive the efficient processing of client and matter requests, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and progressed without delay.
  • Monitor and triage risk and business acceptance enquiries, taking ownership of queries and directing issues to the right teams quickly and effectively.
  • Run conflict searches, investigate results, and identify potential issues, helping the business navigate risk with confidence.
  • Maintain key risk management processes, including information barriers, compliance registers, and system data, while identifying opportunities to improve the way we work.

Experience, skills, and qualifications

  • Previous administration experience, ideally gained within a legal, compliance, or professional services environment. Risk experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships and work with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a natural curiosity for investigating information, spotting issues, and delivering accurate outcomes.
  • A proactive, resilient approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to new systems, and take ownership of delivering results.
