Jo Holdsworth Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading global professional services organisation to recruit a Risk & Compliance Analyst for their growing team based in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in risk, compliance, governance or audit who is looking to develop their career within a collaborative and fast-paced international business.

Working as part of a specialist Risk & Compliance team, you'll support the business in ensuring robust governance, regulatory compliance and effective risk management across a wide range of operational activities. The role offers excellent exposure to a variety of business areas, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and analytical position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with identifying, assessing and monitoring operational, regulatory and business risks.
  • Support the maintenance of risk registers, reporting processes and mitigation plans.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on risk and compliance matters.
  • Assist with the review and development of company policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Support investigations into risk and compliance incidents, identifying root causes and recommending improvements.
  • Help ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Carry out due diligence on suppliers and other third parties where required.
  • Assist with compliance monitoring activities and internal reporting.
  • Support data protection activities, including responses to information requests where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the development of compliance training and awareness initiatives across the business.

About You

We're looking for someone who is analytical, organised and enjoys working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.

You'll ideally have:

  • A degree in Business, Law, Finance, Risk Management or a related discipline.
  • Around 1-3 years' experience within risk, compliance, governance, audit or a similar function.
  • An understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across different teams.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Professional qualifications or experience within professional services would be advantageous but are not essential.
