Job Description

Summary of the Role

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Infrastructure Risk Register, ensuring risks are identified, assessed and managed in line with MOD policy.
  • Coordinate regular risk reviews with infrastructure teams, ensuring risks remain current and supported by effective mitigation plans.
  • Monitor risk actions, track progress and ensure accountability for timely closure.
  • Produce risk reports and trend analysis to support governance meetings and senior decision-making.
  • Escalate significant and emerging risks through the appropriate governance channels.
  • Ensure alignment with the wider Integrated Risk Management (IRM) framework and reporting standards.
  • Support the continuous improvement of risk management processes, tools and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with infrastructure, compliance and leadership teams to promote effective risk management and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Risk management knowledge
  • Infrastructure experience

Desirable:

  • Experience of working with the Ministry of Defence / HM Government
  • Experience of working in highly regulated environments

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

Essential:

  • HNC level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
