About the Role
As a Risk Analyst supporting infrastructure projects, you will:
- Play a key role in identifying, analysing, and managing risk within a site-based delivery environment.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and project controls teams to embed risk processes across active workstreams.
Your focus will be on:
- Maintaining accurate risk data.
- Coordinating mitigation actions.
- Supporting consistent project reporting that informs key decision-making.
In this hands-on role, you will take ownership of administrative and analytical tasks, ensuring:
- Risk information remains current.
- High visibility of risk across the project lifecycle.
By supporting safe and successful delivery of complex infrastructure programmes, you will contribute directly to mission-critical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Risk Register Management: Maintain and update risk registers with precision.
- Data Tracking & Reporting: Use Microsoft Excel to track and report project data effectively.
- Mitigation Coordination: Work with stakeholders to implement and oversee risk mitigation efforts.
- Site-Based Collaboration: Engage with a dynamic, site-operational environment, ensuring compliance and continuous workflow.
- Decision Support: Provide actionable risk insights to inform project direction.
Requirements & Experience
We need you to demonstrate: ✅ Risk register or project controls experience (documentation, tracking, or administration). ✅ Infrastructure, construction, or engineering project support (preferably in a site-based role). ✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for detailed reporting and data management. ✅ Familiarity with operational or construction workflows on site.
While not formal qualifications, direct industry experience in risk assessment, project controls, or operational environments is highly beneficial.
Location & Logistics
This site-based position is located in Helensburgh, Argyll & Bute.
As this role requires frequent travel to and between sites: 🚗 Own transport is essential.
