Risk and Compliance Assistant - Newark, Nottinghamshire
We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk and Compliance Assistant to join our Risk and Compliance Team, based at our Newark office.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in an administrative role, with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work accurately and thoroughly in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Newark (office based)
Department: Risk and Compliance Department
Hours: 9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday
Salary: Depending on Experience
Key Responsibilities
- General compliance administration and tasks.
- Completing file opening tasks.
- Completing the AML E-ID checks so the company is compliant with the anti-money laundering regulations. Checking outstanding ID and liaising with Fee Earners to improve compliance.
- Keeping records up to date and accurate.
- Maintaining detailed logs with evidence.
- Organising training and maintaining records.
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
- Good grades at GCSE and A Level
- High level of competency in using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Desirable Experience
- Degree Relevant experience within Legal or Financial Services
- Driving Licence and transport as some travel will be required to other offices subject to suitable insurance cover.
- Competent in using case management systems.
- Clear understanding of confidentially/Data Protection.
