About The Role
We’re seeking a Risk and Compliance Reporting Analyst to revolutionise how we generate and utilise Management Information (MI) across Risk and Compliance at MAB.
Unlike a traditional ‘build dashboards in Power BI’ role, this creation is part of an evolving data strategy, where much of our MI is currently manually extracted and collated. In this position, you’ll focus on embedding data quality standards, accelerating data-driven insights with our current platforms.
Guided by the Head of CRO (Compliance & Risk Operations) Strategy, your key responsibilities will include developing and enhancing reporting processes and controls to boost efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making harmonisation for executive leadership.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data, reporting, and a knack for refining manual processes in emerging data environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Produce high-quality monthly Risk, Legal, and Compliance MI, including:
- Dashboards and scorecards
- Trend analysis and deep-dive reports
- Reduce reliance on manual processes by improving data capture and structural methodologies
- Develop executive-ready reporting packs for the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Committees, blending data with clear narrative (what happened, why, what’s next)
- Improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness
- Support Risk Committee & Consumer Duty reporting
- Analyse trends, identify outliers, and highlight key risks and themes
- Contribute to data structure, establishing consistent metric definitions for all reports
- Assist governance processes through reporting, action tracking, and committee materials
- Maintain thresholds, RAG ratings, and escalation triggers aligned with regulated risk appetites
- Ensure all reporting is well-controlled, featuring:
- Robust audit trails
- Version control
- Thorough methodology documentation
- Implement and monitor data quality standards (completeness, accuracy, timeliness)
- Ensure MI aligns with internal policies and external regulatory expectations

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
