Salary & Location
- Salary: £40,000 (depending on experience) plus company car/allowance, bonus, and other Veolia benefits.
- Location: Mobile, covering North London and Home Counties (including Solihull, Northampton, Watford, South Bucks, Haringey, St Albans, Brent, Wembley).

Your Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits, engagement visits, and site assessments to enforce safety standards and improvement plans.
- Support an operational team managing municipal collections, street cleaning, waste transfer stations, and fleet workshops.
- Identify process improvements and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and customer service.
- Collaborate with:
- Municipal Risk & Assurance Manager
- Operational teams and external stakeholders
- Regulators and clients to ensure best industry practices are adopted and advice is delivered.
- Actively monitor progress and ensure regulatory and customer obligations are met.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience as a Safety Advisor, ideally within waste management or a similar industry.
- NEBOSH General Certificate, or an equivalent qualification in auditing or risk management.
- Proven audit or compliance experience, particularly in high-stake or risk-driven environments.
- Strong ability to influence and persuasively engage with key stakeholders to implement improvements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, ensuring internal and external clients receive industry-leading support.
