Role Overview
Our client, a Lloyd's third-party managing agent, is seeking experienced Risk Capture Technicians to support their Risk Capture as a Service function. This role involves reviewing insurance slips and supporting documents, extracting key policy information, and accurately recording it within the client's Policy Administration System (PAS).
Key Responsibilities
- Process London Market insurance underwriting data in line with applicable procedure guides
- Analyse technical data and calculate technical transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions
- Manage internal and external queries to support the accuracy and efficiency of data processing
- Apply taxes and deductions accurately during risk/endorsement processing
- Perform premium calculations, including pro-rating against policy periods and calculating premiums from schedules

Key Performance Indicators
- Process insurance underwriting data on a timely and accurate basis, adhering to:
- Benchmark standards
- Accuracy targets
- Contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) per client/service
- Strong understanding of London Market insurance terminology
- Ability to read and interpret slips and endorsements across all lines of business
- Working knowledge of standard market practice for processing risks and endorsements into a PAS system
- Prior experience in a risk capture, technical processing, or policy administration role within the Lloyd's/London Market is essential
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working to contractual SLAs

- Initial 6-month contract, with a view to being extended
