We are seeking to appoint a proven Remote based Risk & Compliance Manager from an Insurance Broker or Broking Network background to support over 90 independent broking businesses who partner with us, trusting our experienced team to work with them to run and grow a successful brokerage.
Role Purpose
This role will work with the senior compliance team and the regulated businesses to ensure regulatory best practice in all areas, focusing on the franchisees in the group.
Main Accountabilities
- Providing compliance advice and guidance to businesses with a franchisee focus.
- Work with the senior team to communicate to business areas / franchisees any required changes to business practices to meet regulatory requirements and support the business/ franchisees with implementation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the franchisees.
- Support the franchisees/ business with Ad-Hoc compliance queries.
- Review and sign off marketing material for the franchisees.
- Identify and report issues / breaches with oversight of and actions.
- Monitor and ensure regulatory filings are correctly completed on time.
- Roll out risk and compliance training to business.
- Work with the Head of Risk and Compliance to prepare internal reporting e.g. Group Risk Committee and EXCOs.
- Attend relevant internal meetings to provide risk and compliance feedback and support.
- Oversight of key contracts e.g., TOBAs and Delegated Authorities.
- Supporting the integration of new businesses into the Group.
- Undertaking Due Diligence and onboarding of new businesses into the Coversure Network
