Description
The Amazon Business B2B Payment and Lending team is looking for a Risk Compliance Manager who will build and scale quality control programs for underwriting decisions of Pay-By-Invoice product across multiple marketplaces.
This position ensures that as we scale our payment solutions globally, we maintain the highest standards of operational excellence and risk management. You'll have the opportunity to shape quality frameworks from the ground up, influence product and process decisions, and directly impact the trust our business customers place in Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
Build and Scale Quality Programs: Design, implement, and continuously improve quality control programs spanning multiple geographies and payment solutions. Establish metrics, monitoring mechanisms, and feedback loops to ensure program effectiveness. Drive Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop comprehensive risk control frameworks using SOP quality standards. Identify nonconformities, manage remediation workstreams, and implement preventive measures to reduce operational risk. Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with credit teams, product managers, and engineering to validate credit decisions, surface insights, and drive data-informed improvements. Build strong relationships across the organization to influence without authority. Hands-On Quality Analysis: Personally conduct quality audits, document findings with precision, and develop actionable insights. Create compelling performance reports and dashboards that tell the story behind the data. Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day risk review assignments, track remediation progress, and ensure data quality through systematic audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both efficiency and effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SQL and Excel Experience in delivering test frameworks, test tools, leading the QA projects and initiatives 5+ years of program management experience building scalable quality control programs Experience with credit risk concepts (underwriting, lending lifecycle, risk assessment) or willingness to learn quickly Experience with QA automation or building tools to monitor risk and controls Familiarity with commercial credit, lending operations, or B2B payments
