Risk Compliance Manager
Risk & Compliance Manager
A prominent UK Law firm is seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager for their teams in London and Brighton offices.
The role offers exposure to complex, high-profile matters, with the opportunity to work closely with partners within a highly regarded global Risk & Compliance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day advice to partners and fee earners on regulatory, ethical and professional conduct matters
- Advising on conflicts of interest, client engagement issues, and wider risk management queries
- Monitoring changes in legal and regulatory requirements, and coordinating the implementation of new policies and procedures
- Managing complaints and professional indemnity matters, including liaising with insurers and supporting investigations where required
- Reviewing, developing, and maintaining the firm’s risk management policies, procedures, and compliance framework
- Supporting the firm’s business continuity, information security, and operational risk programmes
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the Risk & Compliance team

Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Risk & Compliance role within a UK law firm
- Strong knowledge of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Standards and Regulations, and wider legal regulatory requirements
- Experience advising on professional conduct, conflicts of interest, and regulatory risk
- A solid understanding of legal risk management and compliance best practice
