About the Role
Our client, a growing and reputable law firm, is looking for a Risk & Compliance Officer to join their compliance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an understanding of risk and compliance who enjoys working collaboratively, solving problems, and helping to maintain the highest regulatory standards across the firm.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing guidance on AML, client onboarding, conflicts, GDPR, and general compliance queries.
- Supporting the firm's regulatory accreditations, policies, and compliance framework.
- Conducting AML, Source of Funds, and Source of Wealth audits and reporting on findings.
- Managing professional indemnity claims and circumstances, complaints, and regulatory registrations.
- Assisting with compliance training, regulatory reporting, and firm-wide risk management projects.
- Keeping up to date with legal and regulatory developments to help drive best practice.

About You

- Ideally 1-3 years’ Risk & Compliance experience within a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of AML and regulatory compliance.
- Confident communicating with colleagues at all levels, including senior management and partners.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
