The Opportunity
This role is responsible for the oversight of areas related to finance, risk, and control administration. The key functions include:
- Internal control & risk register management
- Coordination with control/risk owners to ensure compliance
- Master data governance for ERP
- Insurance administration
The Risk & Controls Manager will report to the RSIS Head of Financial Risk and Control and work closely with RSIS Finance, functional control owners, Group Operational Audit, and Group Treasury.
What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
Insurance Administration
- Coordinate annual insurance renewals for RSIS with Group Treasury
- Manage annual workers’ compensation audits and respond to ad hoc insurance inquiries
- Ensure annual certificates of insurance are delivered to internal team members and client contacts
Risk Register
- Actively maintain the RSIS risk register
- Organise regular reviews of risks with senior and executive leadership and document related controls
- Assess emergent risks from new business activities/offerings and liaise with respective functional teams
Internal Control Matrix
- Assist in developing and maintaining the RSIS internal controls matrix
- Collaborate with Group Operational Audit to plan operational audits and coordinate responses to findings
- Work with the Group Controls team to ensure implementation of ERP internal controls for UK Corporate Reform Act compliance

Finance Master Data Lead
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of master data within the JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system, including:
- Accounts
- Business units
- Sites
- Client onboarding
- Supplier onboarding
- Supplier payment terms
- Lead the Master Data Centre of Excellence (CoE)
Customer & Supplier Onboarding
- Ensure proper client vetting in collaboration with Sales/Implementation
- Ensure proper supplier vetting in collaboration with Procurement
Additional Support
- Provide ad hoc data to support audits, tax reviews, and other requirements as needed
What You’ll Bring
Essential Requirements
- Strong background in developing and implementing procedures, processes, and operational controls
- Ability to think strategically about risks and propose mitigating actions with stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in presenting internal control importance to financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and handling financial information with confidentiality

- Experience working in a global, matrix-structured organisation with diverse stakeholders
- Industry expertise in procurement, finance, or supply chain (though not essential)
