Risk Management Surveyor
Risk Management Surveyor - Level 2
Location: Remote covering South Downs & West Sussex (requires travel)
Working hours: 40 hours per week (inclusive of travel time)

- MD Insurance Services Limited (trading as Premier Guarantee and LABC Warranty)

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Risk Management Surveyor, your primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting site inspections for new-build and newly converted buildings
- Ensuring work aligns with Technical Manuals and Building Regulations
- Providing technical advice to facilitate safe, compliant construction
- Managing your own workload—planning inspections, recording findings, and communicating outcomes to customers and colleagues
- Identifying defects, maintaining standards, and offering solution-focused guidance

This role is primarily field-based.

What You Bring
- Strong communication skills: Ability to provide clear, practical technical advice

- Independence: Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple project sites efficiently
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years’ experience in construction, surveying, inspection, or a similar technical role
- Qualified as either:
- Chartered (Member status) within your field
- Class 2b Competent under the Building Inspector Competency Framework
- Expert knowledge of:
- Building Regulations
- Site inspections
- Defect identification
- Experience working with:
- Developers
- Builders
- Construction stakeholders
- Ability to use:
- Microsoft Office
- Mobile devices
- Full UK driving licence required
- Willingness to travel across multiple sites (reasonable adjustments supported)
