Job Description
Your Mission
Join this Defence project providing Risk Expertise through a Joint Project Team delivering an infrastructure programme.
We’re seeking a Risk Manager to lead risk identification, analysis, and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting to the Programme Delivery Lead, you’ll work across our client’s site, and industry partners to manage risks in a complex, fast-paced environment.
You’ll need strong project delivery and risk management skills, with experience handling major infrastructure projects and navigating multiple stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the delivery of the risk management process, roadmap, and Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Facilitate monthly risk reviews, workshops, and maintain risk registers & dashboards 📊
- Support Quantitative Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis (QCRA/QSRA) and quarterly reporting 💸⏱️
- Manage project assumptions and maintain the Master Data & Assumptions List (MDAL) 📚
- Track mitigation plans and ensure risk actions are delivered 🔎
- Collaborate with project leads, suppliers, and partners to manage risks, avoid duplication, and drive delivery
- Monitor supply chain performance and flag emerging issues early 🚀
- Ensure compliance with client processes and infrastructure requirements 🛠️

Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- SC Clearance held and available to work on client site 3 days/week 🛡️
- Strong knowledge of risk processes and management
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and see the bigger risk picture 🔎
- Experience in infrastructure risk analysis
- Strong leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills 🤝
- Proficient IT skills 💻
Desirable
- Industry knowledge, including competitors/adversaries
- Confident communicator at executive level 🎤
- Agile, adaptable, and responsive to change 🔄
- Experience managing risk in complex, live operational environments
- Collaborative team player across multi-agency teams
