About the Role
Job Title: Risk Manager (Defence Programme) Contract Type: Permanent
Your Mission
Join this Defence project, providing risk expertise through a Joint Project Team delivering an infrastructure programme.
We’re seeking a Risk Manager to:
- Lead risk identification, analysis, and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Report to the Programme Delivery Lead.
- Work across client sites and industry partners.
- Navigate risk management in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Your role will require:

Lead the delivery of:
- Risk management processes
- Risk management roadmap
- Target Operating Model (TOM)

Facilitate:
- Monthly risk reviews
- Risk workshops
- Maintain risk registers and optimised dashboards

Support:
- Quantitative Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis (QCRA/QSRA)
- Quarterly reporting

Coordinate:
- Project assumptions
- Master Data & Assumptions List (MDAL)

** Monitor**:
- Mitigation plans
- Deliver risk actions

Collaborate with:
- Project leads
- Suppliers
- Stakeholders
- Partners
- To manage risks, avoid duplication, and drive delivery

Early supply chain performance tracking and risk emergence detection (🚀)

Ensure compliance with client processes and infrastructure requirements.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
✔ SC Clearance held and available to work on client site 3-4 days/week.
✔ Demonstrable expertise in:
- Whole-life risk processes and management
- Data analysis, trend identification, and risk forecasting
✔ Infrastructure project risk experience.
✔ Strong:
- Leadership capabilities
- Organisational skills
- Stakeholder management experience
✔ Proficiency in IT skills.
