Client Details
This role is in the London-based head office of one of the world's largest networks of assurance, tax and consulting firms.
Description
- Work with the Risk team in strengthening the Network's risk management framework through contributing to the development of consistent global risk standards, enhancement of Member Firm risk practices, and delivery of key risk initiatives to enhance global risk management.
- Support the Risk team in the timely delivery of global Risk initiatives by applying structured project planning and maintaining accurate, clear and comprehensive documentation to support the completion of milestones and deliverables to a high standard.
- Support the maintenance of the Network Risk Register, coordinating inputs, updating risk information and contributing to analysis of key risks to support reporting and decision-making - applying both a global and collaborative mindset.
- Contribute to the preparation of risk insights and analysis that support informed decision-making by the Global Executive Office, Global Board, and Regional Leadership, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and culture awareness when engaging senior stakeholders.
- Promote Risk awareness and cross-team collaboration to support the embedding of risk management considerations into planning and decision-making, enabling coherent and consistent risk practices across the Global Executive Office and regions.
- Maintain the Risk site for the network ensuring guidance and webinars are uploaded and available, content remains intuitive and easy to access, thought leadership permissions have been granted and are logged, and tools and templates are clearly signposted with accompanying guidance.
- Support the administration and coordination of the Risk community, including being responsible for the webinar presentations, assisting with the webinars and managing the Risk community email group.
- Monitor Professional Indemnity and Cyber Insurance mail files, supporting insurance renewals and queries, updating Member Firm records and escalating matters where appropriate.
- Produce high quality deliverables particularly in PowerPoint, presenting information through clear, logical and visually engaging narratives using effective layout, graphics and design.

Profile
A Successful Risk Senior Associate Should Have
- Experience in risk management, internal audit, or governance, ideally within a professional services or international network.
- Proven ability in producing high-quality deliverables, particularly PowerPoint.
- Strong project management and organisation skills, including the ability to successfully manage multiple project aspects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to evaluate project processes and outcomes and identify opportunities for process optimisation to drive increased project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to support activities that enhance risk understanding, risk ownership and the monitoring of risk mitigation activities.
- Proactive, reliable, and discreet, with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as being a team player.
- Ability to quickly foster effective working relationships across cultures.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Previous experience in working in an international environment.
- Professional certification(s) related to risk management, auditing or project management would be advantageous.

Job Offer
- Permanent role based in London.
- Salary between £40,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Hybrid working.
