Lead Safety at enterprise level. Own Risk & SMS end-to-end. Drive resilience in a global aviation business.
About the Role
We are representing a global engine organisation seeking a dynamic Risk & SMS Leader to take ownership of its Safety Management System (SMS) and Enterprise Risk framework. This is a high-impact role where you will:
- Drive safety governance
- Oversee corporate risk registers
- Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple National Aviation Authorities
- Monitor and close corrective actions
- Provide clear safety performance reporting to senior leadership
- Advise the organisation on safety management best practices

Responsibilities
Beyond SMS, you will:
- Lead enterprise risk management
- Review change management programmes to ensure safety implications are properly assessed
- Oversee Business Continuity Planning, including Emergency Response and Crisis Management frameworks
This is a visible position with direct influence on operational integrity and organisational resilience.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified professional in Engineering, Quality, or Safety
- At least four years of relevant experience, including hands-on implementation of risk management systems
- Confident engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to present complex risk matters clearly
- Bring energy, structure, and ownership to your work
- Strong English and Chinese communication skills
