Cantor Fitzgerald/ BGC Partners Risk Technology is responsible for Enterprise Solutions performing the following functions:
- Calculation of overnight and real-time risk requirements
- Monitoring real-time Risk and PnL
- Running VaR and stress scenario calculations
- Running Firm liquidity requirement calculations
- Managing Firm limit calculations
- Managing security and client reference data
- Building management dashboards and reports
- Integrating with the company trading, middle office, and clearing systems

Risk Management Technology team is seeking motivated, Data Analyst to support and enhance Credit, Market, and Operational Risk Systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Work directly with Risk Management to gather requirements.
- Build new and enhance existing processes, such as: Data Analysis, Asset Valuations, and Custom Measure Calculations.
- Present Data by using different visualization tools.
- Create documentation aimed at internal and external (regulatory) audience.
- Follow industry-standard practices for source control, and application deployment.
- Evaluate new and emerging technologies and their suitability for Risk Technology applications.

Desired Skills and Experience
Must Have:
- Proficient with AI Coding Tools and Platforms
- Strong SQL and Database Management Skills: MS SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle.
- Proficiency with Python, R.
- Excellent grasp of Statistical and Machine Learning Concepts.
- Proficiency in DevOps Solutions: Git, Jira.
Desirable:
- Experience with Credit and Market Risk.
- Experience with MCSI / Risk Metrics.
- Proficiency with ETL tools; Pentaho/Hitachi Vantara.
- Experience with Risk Management / Margin / Fund Accounting systems (Imagine, Seamans)
- Experience with Markup/Markup Schemas (JSON, xml) and RESTful services.
