Registered Nurse – General & Dementia Care

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Chickerell, Weymouth area.

About the Nursing Home

This healthcare provider ranks among the UK’s leading providers of care for the elderly. The home specialises in:

  • General nursing care
  • Dementia care
  • Residential care
  • Respite care

Currently rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Requirements for the Role

To be considered, you must be:

  • A Registered Nurse
  • In possession of a current active NMC Pin

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse, your core duties include:

  • Accurately assessing residents’ needs and identifying care priorities
  • Administering medication and treatments within NMC guidelines and the company’s medication policy
  • Ensuring residents’ care plans are completed and maintained in collaboration with:
    • Residents
    • Relatives
    • Other healthcare professionals
  • Reporting any illness among residents and arranging GP/professional visits as necessary

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: £23.00
  • Annual salary: Up to £57,408 per year
  • Shift availability: Permanent vacancies for day and night shifts
