As a 259-bed teaching hospital, over half of our beds are dedicated to intensive care services, making us the regional pediatric referral center for Florida’s west coast. We offer:

Operating Room Overview
Our Operating Room features:
- 10 fully equipped surgical rooms
- 2 special procedure rooms serving patients of all acuity levels
- Busiest specialties: ENT, Urology, Orthopedics
- Additional cases in general surgery, plastics, GI, neurosurgery, dental, and ophthalmology

Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. A Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred.
- Current State of Florida RN license is mandatory.
- 5+ years’ experience in either pediatric or neonatal nursing.
- Experience in nursing education is preferred.
- Specialty nursing certification or Epic Credentialed Trainer requirement (depending on unit/department needs).
- Simulation Instructor training required within the first year of employment.
- Formal training in educational theory, instructional design, or teaching strategies is preferred.
- Previous experience in clinical, research, patient safety, or teaching is advantageous.
- Experience in designing and implementing educational programs is a plus.
