Roadside Rescue Mechanic – The AA

Our Commitment to You
- Guaranteed year 1 earnings of £41,388 inclusive of allowances, with average OTE up to £60,000 based on top performers
- Flexible shifts: As a patrol, you’ll work an average 40-hour week, with a variety of shift patterns available. Choose a schedule that suits your personal and professional needs.
- Rest days and shift length vary by pattern selection

As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic:
- Start and finish on your driveway; earn from van departure to vehicle arrival home
- Work independently across varied locations and conditions while staying connected to a supportive team
- Solve technical problems with effectiveness and clarity to deliver a positive customer experience
- Handle a wide range of roadside challenges with confidence, calm, and readiness

What Do You Need?
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience
- Full Category B driver’s licence (6 points or fewer)
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays (since breakdowns don’t follow a schedule)
- Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies—we provide tools, you bring curiosity!
