Our commitment to you
- Guaranteed Year 1 earnings: £43,976 inclusive of allowances (OTE up to £60,000 for top performers).
- Flexible shifts: As a patrol, you’ll work an average 40-hour week with varied shift options to suit your lifestyle. Rest days and shift lengths vary based on your chosen pattern.
As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you’ll be the lifeline for our members—ensuring they’re back on the road safely and swiftly. Ready for anything, you’ll be there in any weather, helping drivers with calm technical expertise and a friendly smile.
What will you be doing?
- Work from your driveway—paid from the moment you enter your van until you return home.
- Operate independently but as part of a supportive team, across diverse locations and conditions.
- Apply your technical skills and communication to deliver a positive customer experience.
- Solve problems on the spot with your adaptability and problem-solving skills in any roadside situation.

What do you need?
✅ NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent experience. ✅ A full Category B driving licence with 6 points or fewer. ✅ Confidence in technology—we’ll provide the tools, you bring the curiosity. ✅ Flexibility for shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays (as break downs don’t follow a schedule).
