Roadside Rescue Mechanic – Anytime, Anywhere

As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you’ll be the hero members turn to when travel takes an unexpected turn. With The AA, you’ll brings them safely back on the road—and with a friendlier smile.

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience
  • Full UK driving licence, below 6 penalty points

Skills & Attributes

  • Proven technical knowledge to adapt to new technologies—your curiosity is just as important!
  • Confidence and readiness for unpredictable challenges on everyday basis

Availability Requirements

  • Shift-flexible (including nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays), as breakdowns don’t follow a schedule
