Humanoid Robot Solutions (HRS) is a UK-based integrator specializing in deploying humanoid robots for manufacturers, from live demonstrations through to full-scale implementation. The company is platform-agnostic, working with multiple leading humanoid systems, including AGIBOT G2 and X2, as well as platforms such as Unitree and Figure, to match the best robot to each application. HRS provides end-to-end services, covering practical trials, procurement, active deployment into existing workflows, advanced AI training, and long-term support across sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, defence, pharmaceuticals, and hospitality. Its technology focuses on physical and embodied AI, using Vision-Language-Action models, motion capture, egocentric-data training, imitation learning, and physics-based digital twins to help robots understand intent and adapt to real-world conditions. The Robotics and AI Engineer role at HRS is a full-time, on-site position located in Newtown. The engineer will design, develop, and deploy robotics and AI solutions for humanoid platforms, integrating perception, decision-making, and control systems into real-world manufacturing and industrial workflows.

Daily Tasks
- Building and refining machine learning models
- Implementing pattern recognition and neural network algorithms
- Collaborating on software components that support robotic motion, interaction, and safety
Responsibilities
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to run capability trials
- Optimizing robot performance using egocentric data and digital twins
- Ensuring smooth integration with customer environments
- Contributing to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of AI pipelines and robotics software to meet reliability, scalability, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, with experience in Software Development for robotics or AI-driven systems.
- Practical expertise in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including training, evaluation, and deployment of models in real-world environments.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and related techniques for human–robot interaction, command understanding, or multimodal AI.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in robotics and AI (such as Python, C++, or similar) and familiarity with relevant frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, ROS).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Newtown, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with embodied AI, digital twins, motion capture, or real-time control systems is highly beneficial.
- Background in deploying systems in industrial environments.
