About the Role

You will join a long-term initiative in collaboration with a globally recognized industry leader. The project focuses on advancing physical AI and multi-fleet management systems, aimed at significantly enhancing the performance and efficiency of outdoor vehicles.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of robotics, AI, and real-world hardware, where solutions go beyond simulation into practical application. The team is involved not only in building new capabilities but also in retrofitting existing systems with intelligent components, bringing innovation to already deployed equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Working with digital twins of real-world systems
  • Leading process modeling and optimization initiatives
  • Designing and developing solutions for robotics and industrial systems
  • Building rapid prototypes and production-ready solutions
  • Testing robotics and industrial solutions in both simulation and real-world environments
  • Designing automated robotic systems to improve production efficiency and precision across industries
  • Researching emerging trends and modern approaches in robotics, including control, motion planning, sensing, decision-making, and performance optimization of robotic components and industrial systems

Requirements

  • Expertise in C++, Python, or Julia, with a minimum of 6 years of software development experience, including system programming and real-time systems
  • Experience in modeling continuous, discrete, and event-driven systems, with a proven track record
  • Proficiency in simulation techniques and frameworks such as MATLAB/Simulink, Mathematica, Modelica, Ansys, and OpenFOAM
  • Experience with physics-based simulation tools such as Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac, or V-REP
  • Strong knowledge of numerical methods, concurrent programming, and component-oriented programming
  • Ability to understand and implement complex, high-performance algorithms
  • Knowledge of control theory, estimation theory, and optimization techniques for linear and nonlinear systems
  • Experience in robotics system development
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with distributed control systems
  • Understanding of software testing practices, Continuous Integration, build and deployment processes, and monitoring of complex systems
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
