We're recruiting on behalf of a growing automation engineering business that designs and delivers bespoke robotic and factory automation solutions for manufacturers across the UK and overseas. With a strong order book and an increasing number of international projects, they're looking to appoint an experienced Robotics Integration Engineer to play a key role in delivering innovative automation systems from concept through to commissioning.
This is an opportunity to work on genuinely bespoke projects rather than repetitive production environments. Every system is different, offering plenty of technical variety and the chance to work with a range of robotic platforms and automation technologies.
Robotics Integration Engineer - The Role:
Working alongside controls, mechanical and project engineers, you'll be responsible for integrating robotic solutions into complete automated production systems.
The position combines office-based engineering with regular customer site work throughout the UK, Europe and North America. At present, this is c30% of the time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
