Robotics Engineer (Remote)

Robotics Engineer (Remote) – Evaluations Specialist (Contract)

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Rate: $15 – $20/hour


About the Role

We are hiring for one of our client partners, seeking a Robotics Evaluation Specialist to perform contract-based evaluations of robotic systems. This critical role involves assessing the performance, reliability, and efficiency of robotic hardware and software across diverse applications.

Key focus areas include standardized testing, result analysis, and delivering actionable feedback to enhance system functionality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test protocols for robotic systems, measuring metrics like precision, speed, and efficiency.
  • Document and report test findings, including anomalies, failures, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine systems based on evaluation insights.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of test results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Recommend technical enhancements or system modifications to optimize performance and reliability.

Essential Requirements

✔ Proven experience in robotics testing, evaluation, or hardware/software validation. ✔ Technical proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., statistical software, visualization platforms). ✔ Familiarity with programming languages (Python or C++) for scripting and automation. ✔ In-depth knowledge of:

  • Robotics kinematics, control systems, and sensor integration.
  • Industry safety/compliance standards (e.g., ISO 10218, IEEE 1475). ✔ Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for diagnosing and resolving technical challenges. ✔ Exceptional written and verbal communication to articulate findings and recommendations. ✔ Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
