Robotics Engineering Technician
Machine Assembly Technician (Humanoid Robotics) – Deep Product Development

At Humanoid, we’re building the world’s most capable—secure, scalable, and commercially viable—humanoid robots. Our first platform, HMND-01 Alpha, is already in industrial pilot programs. We’re scaling fast, and you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of labor automation.
The Role
You’ll be part of the team designing, building, and bringing up next-gen humanoid robots—typically working across electromechanical assembly, validation, and technical support. Ownership is a core value; you’ll engage directly with founding leadership at the frontier of AI and robotics.
Key areas you’ll engage with:
Assembly
- Build electro-mechanical components to ** точно CAD, drawings, and work instructions**
- Assemble with precision using:
- Hand tools
- Adhesive/applicators, crimp tools, torque wrenches
- Labellers for tracking
- Route complex harnesses with labelling/securement as defined
- Assign/display serial numbers to tracked assets.
Bring-Up & Testing
- Configure and test sensors, actuators, communications using:
- Command-line tooling
- Electronics test set-ups
- Troubleshoot faults using:
- Multimeters, oscilloscopes
- PCB repair equipment Liaise with engineering as needed
- Execute validation scripts, develop/update test code
- Manage Git/GitLab/GitHub for version control
- Orchestrate compute assembly adhering to ESD best practices
- Repair/rework through-hole and surface-mount PCBs
- Assemble/evaluate electrical harnesses and crimping tasks
- Test with fixtures, jigs, dedicated test equipment
- Document technical findings, defects, and resolution steps.

What We’re Looking For
Requirements
Repository for applying candidates will get an initial sense of the requirements technology and mindset:
- 3+ years in electro-mechanical assembly or rapid prototyping
- Expertise: mechanical and electrical assembly (ideally robotics/aerospace/automotive-grade)
- Solid embedded electronics foundation: test tools, PCB repair/rework, soldering, and harness assembly
- Command-line certainty: Comfort with Unix/Shell/Bash and its incumbent scripting tasks -ility with Git/GitLab/GitHub for code/design logging
- Customer service mindset: read and interpret CAD, drawings, wiring schematics flawlessly
- High attention-to-detail. Have you worked with tone, torque sensing, tolerancerces†?
