Robotics Software Engineer - Calibration Tooling (Contract)

πŸ“ Location: London or Germany (Hybrid - 1 day onsite)
πŸ’° Rate: Flexible
πŸ•’ Contract: 6 Months

The Company

My client is one of Europe's fastest-growing AI companies, developing next-generation autonomous driving technology. Backed by over $1bn in funding, they're building advanced AI systems that enable vehicles to understand and navigate complex real-world environments. As they continue to scale, they're investing in the tooling and infrastructure that supports their robotics and calibration teams.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on contract role focused on building the software tooling that supports robotics and calibration engineers. Rather than developing core algorithms, you'll build diagnostics, visualisation, reporting and workflow tooling that helps engineers understand, investigate and resolve calibration issues more efficiently. Working closely with robotics and calibration teams, you'll combine strong Python engineering with robotics domain knowledge to improve the tools behind a cutting-edge autonomous vehicle platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
