Description

Amazon is seeking an experienced business-oriented Robotics System Integration & Deployment Engineer II to lead first-time deployments of advanced automation technologies and develop comprehensive documentation that enables global rollouts across our fulfillment network.

Join our Robotics Delivery and Packaging Innovation International team, where we transform complex automation technologies into efficiently deployable solutions on a global scale.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience leading automation deployments from conception to launch, combined with strong technical problem-solving ability. You'll take complete ownership of initial deployment execution, creating comprehensive schedules, aligning cross-functional teams, vendors, and site teams, then transform initial deployment complexity into standardized, streamlined procedures for downstream teams. Working across multiple technologies will accelerate your learning through exposure to diverse stakeholders and technical environments.

Amazon's culture encourages an entrepreneurial approach and expects engineers and managers alike to take a high level of ownership in solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

The role could be based in Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf, Barcelona, London, Luxembourg, Madrid or Milan with ~50% travel across Europe during peak deployment season, with occasional international travel.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end deployment lifecycle from planning through go-live, managing on-site execution during Alpha and Beta phases including installation, commissioning, and validation
  • Align cross-functional teams, vendors, and site teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Transform deployment complexity into scalable solutions by creating and improving comprehensive documentation and deliverables that convert initial implementations into ready-to-scale procedures
  • Evaluate and deliver large-scale automation technologies including conveyance, sortation and robotics systems
  • Collaborate with product, safety, deployment, quality and vendor teams throughout project lifecycle

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
