Robotics Technician (AI Training)
About The Role
What if your daily routine — making coffee, opening doors, sorting objects — could help teach the next generation of AI-powered robots how to interact with the real world? We're looking for Robotics Technicians to capture video recordings of everyday tasks that serve as critical training data for cutting-edge robotics systems.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to virtually anyone. No robotics knowledge, technical background, or special equipment required — just a smartphone or camera and a willingness to follow clear recording instructions.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Record video of yourself performing everyday household or workplace tasks — things you already do every day
- Follow clear guidelines on camera angles, lighting, and task sequences to ensure high-quality captures
- Interact with common objects, surfaces, and environments to generate diverse, realistic training data
- Upload completed recordings and fill out simple metadata forms to document each session
- Maintain consistency and quality across multiple recording sessions
- Work independently and on your own schedule from the comfort of your home

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
