Rockingham Partners | Marketing Manager

Rockingham Partners | Marketing Manager

Hospitality Clients

Contract: Full-time

Location: Hampshire (hybrid working)

About Rockingham

Rockingham Partners works alongside independent hotels and hotel groups to improve performance in a practical, commercially focused way. Our marketing approach is built around revenue, conversion and business impact - not just aesthetics. We help clients sharpen their story, improve visibility, strengthen direct demand and support the revenue areas that matter most, from rooms and weddings to meetings, events and food-led offers.

About the role

This is a client-facing marketing role working across Rockingham’s hotel portfolio. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the monthly delivery, coordination and reporting of marketing activity across retained hotel accounts working closely with our founders in a growing team.

It is a hands-on role suited to someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple moving parts at once. The work ranges from content planning, website updates and email campaigns through to SEO hygiene, profile management, reporting and campaign coordination.

What you’ll do

  • Build and manage monthly content plans across channels in line with each hotel’s commercial needs.
  • Manage monthly delivery across a portfolio of hotel clients.
  • Maintain project plans, client hours and monthly reporting.
  • Maintain WordPress and WP Elementor websites, creating landing pages and seasonal campaigns.
  • Create, schedule and publish social media content inc. posts, reels and paid Meta campaigns and coordinate influencer visits and content creation.
  • Build, segment and send email campaigns using Mailchimp and client CMS platforms.
  • Manage Google Business Profiles, TripAdvisor and online listings, including replies to reviews and image updates.
  • Enhance clients on page SEO using SEMrush, Google Search Console and GA4 to improve rankings and traffic.
  • Report on campaign performance using GA4, Google Ads and marketing dashboards.
  • Analyse marketing performance, identify trends and provide commercially focused recommendations that support client objectives and revenue growth.
  • Proactively identify risks, opportunities and commercial priorities, making recommendations to founders and clients that improve marketing effectiveness and business performance.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, developing a strong understanding of each hotel’s commercial objectives, seasonal priorities and target markets.
  • Use appropriate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency across content planning, research and marketing delivery, while maintaining high editorial standards and brand quality.

How we work

  • Marketing is led with a commercial lens - every task should support visibility, enquiries, bookings or revenue momentum.
  • We do not separate marketing from the wider business. Website, SEO, content, email, listings and campaign planning all need to work together.
  • The Marketing Manager role is delivery-led, but always tied to business priorities, need periods and measurable outcomes.
  • This is not a role for someone who just wants to post content. It is for someone who wants to make marketing work better.
  • We challenge ourselves to think beyond activity and focus on commercial outcomes. We expect our team to question, recommend and continually look for ways to improve our clients’ performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
