The Opportunity

As one of our experienced Roofers, you'll work on a wide range of domestic roofing projects across Central Scotland.

You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional workmanship while providing homeowners with the outstanding customer experience that Taylor Roofs has become known for.

This role is about much more than fitting roofs. It's about taking pride in your workmanship, solving problems, working safely and helping deliver our Taylor Made Experience on every project.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high-quality domestic roofing installations and repairs.
  • Install natural slate, concrete roof tiles and associated roofing systems.
  • Install and repair UPVC roofline products, including fascias, soffits, guttering and downpipes.
  • Install dry ridge, dry verge and hip systems.
  • Complete flat roofing installations and repairs.
  • Carry out leadwork, flashing and detailed finishing work.
  • Identify roofing defects and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
  • Work safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Represent Taylor Roofs professionally in every customer's home.
  • Deliver our Taylor Made Experience throughout every project.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced, time-served roofer.
  • Has a minimum of six years' domestic roofing experience.
  • Takes genuine pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Can work independently and confidently solve problems on site.
  • Has experience across slate, tile, flat roofing, leadwork and roofline systems.
  • Understands the importance of excellent customer service.
  • Is reliable, professional and hardworking.
  • Works well as part of a team.
  • Believes in developing people and is willing to help train, mentor and inspire the next generation of roofing professionals.
  • Leads by example through professionalism, workmanship and attitude.
  • Is committed to continually developing their skills and progressing through our Taylor Roofs Skills Matrix.
  • Shares our values and commitment to quality.
  • Holds a full UK Driving Licence.
