Roofer
🔨 Roofer – Responsive Maintenance (WPS, Lambeth)
📍 Based in Brixton ¦ 🚚 Full UK Driving Licence Required
Wates Property Services (WPS) are seeking a skilled and motivated Roofer to join our Responsive Maintenance Team in Lambeth. Working from our Brixton office, you will help deliver high-quality reactive repairs to our social housing residents.
đź”§ What You'll Be Doing
As a Roofer with Wates, you will:
- Carry out a range of roofing repair and renewal works to homes across Lambeth
- Communicate clearly and professionally with the scheduler, residents, and your line manager
- Work safely and comply with all Health & Safety and safeguarding standards
- Stay updated with the latest technical and legal requirements in your trade
- Work collaboratively with other operatives to complete multi-trade repairs
- Accurately complete digital job sheets and material logs via a PDA device

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or a similar related trade qualification
- A genuine passion for roofing and willingness to continue learning
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
