Salary: £32,597-£34,434 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week

Roofer - The Role
You will work alongside Repairs Supervisors and the Resource Planning Co-ordinator to deliver high-quality multi-trade repairs and maintenance. Your day-to-day work will involve roofing repairs and renewals, brickwork repointing, plumbing repairs at height, damp inspections, leadwork, and general building works. You will demonstrate consistent quality across multiple trades and support colleagues in completing responsive repairs, while ensuring the safety of assigned labourers and maintaining your vehicle to the required standard.

Roofer - Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of roofing repairs, renewals and maintenance
- Perform brickwork repointing and repair work
- Execute plumbing repairs at height to soil stacks and waste pipes
- Conduct exterior damp cause inspections and repairs
- Repair and replace leadwork
- Undertake all work requiring safe working at height
- Ensure the safety of labourers assigned to you and maintain safe working practices
- Manage daily vehicle, plant and materials under supervisor direction
- Remove and reconnect household appliances where required
- Plan daily duties to ensure efficiency and contribute to the team's effectiveness
Roofer - You
- Hold current roofing experience and demonstrate multi-trade working ability
- Possess a full current driving licence and are competent driving van-sized vehicles
- Have working knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and Asbestos Regulations awareness
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, tenants and the public, and work cooperatively as part of a team
- Can work safely from ladders and in confined spaces such as loft areas
- Show strong problem-solving ability and accuracy in completing job details and ordering materials
- Demonstrate willingness to work both inside and outside in all weather conditions
