🕒 Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm

The Opportunity
As one of our Roofing Surveyors, you'll be responsible for helping homeowners make informed decisions about one of the biggest investments they'll make in their property.
You'll own the customer journey from survey through to quotation, using your technical roofing knowledge to identify the right solution while delivering our Taylor Made Experience.
This is a customer-facing role that combines technical expertise, problem solving and sales. You'll build trust with homeowners, accurately assess roofing requirements and prepare detailed quotations that help drive profitable growth for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit homeowners across Central Scotland to carry out roof surveys.
- Assess roofing defects and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
- Measure roofs accurately and identify all technical requirements.
- Prepare professional quotations and cost estimates.
- Present solutions confidently and build trust with homeowners.
- Follow our Taylor Made Experience throughout every customer interaction.
- Maximise quotation conversion while protecting company margins.
- Price variations and additional works where required.
- Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure a smooth handover.
- Ensure all surveys comply with company procedures, health & safety requirements and relevant legislation.

About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has extensive roofing knowledge across pitched, flat and refurbishment roofing.
- Has previous experience surveying, estimating or selling roofing projects.
- Builds trust quickly with homeowners.
- Enjoys helping customers solve problems.
- Has excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Is commercially aware and understands profitable selling.
- Is organised and able to manage multiple surveys each week.
- Takes ownership and works independently.
- Shares our values and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Holds a full UK Driving Licence.

- Labour sales achieved.
- Gross profit generated.
- Quotation conversion percentage.
- Survey accuracy.
