Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located next to Blackfriars Station in the heart of the City of London, within walking distance of St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern and the South Bank. This Grade II listed five-star hotel stands on the historic site of King Henry VIII’s Bridewell Palace and features 205 stylish guestrooms and suites along with versatile meeting and event spaces. Dining experiences include NYnLON, a sophisticated yet relaxed bistro bringing the flavours of New York dining culture to London with East Coast classics and seasonal produce, and Leaf and Cane, a vibrant late night bar with live sports screenings, karaoke nights, a dynamic calendar of social events, premium beers and a lively social atmosphere.
Colleagues have the opportunity to work in a distinctive historic setting while welcoming both international business travellers and leisure guests to central London.
Duties And Responsibilities Of The Room Attendant Role

- Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds and replacing linens.
- Replenish room amenities such as toiletries, towels, beverages, and stationery.
- Vacuum, dust, and sanitize all room surfaces, bathrooms, and fixtures.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all assigned rooms are completed within the shift timeframe.
- Handle guest requests politely and efficiently, maintaining excellent customer service.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean, organized condition.
About You
You are a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces for guests. You work well in a fast-paced environment, enjoy being part of a team, and bring a positive, helpful attitude to every shift. You’re committed to maintaining high standards and delivering excellent guest experiences.
