Room Attendant
Housekeeping - Fowey Hall Hotel
Contract: Casual Worker
Salary: £12.71 per hour plus service charge
Are you passionate about ensuring guest comfort and maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness? Fowey Hall Hotel, a luxury family hotel in Fowey, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant.
As Room Attendant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests experience the epitome of comfort and cleanliness during their stay.
Job Type: Casual Worker Agreement – Hours are offered to our casual workers in line with the demands of the business. Flexibility will be required for varying shifts and some potential weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high quality room and public area cleans: You will work as part of the housekeeping team to ensure all assigned bedrooms and public areas are turned around and cleaned to the highest standard. This will include full restock of all in room guest amenities. You will be asked to conduct thorough deep cleans on occasion.
- Ensure a safe environment for our guests: You will maintain and check all equipment regularly and report any defects. Ensure all equipment and chemicals are used correctly as per manufacturer instructions.
- Make long lasting unique memories: We welcome your charisma and personality and encourage you to create memories and relationships with our guests – especially the littlest ones!

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
- Charisma, Engaging personality and passion for hospitality and providing great service to our guests.
- A keen eye for detail, working to tight timeframes and enjoy a physical job role.
- Ability to interact with all guests and ability to have fun and engage with our younger guests.
- Previous experience in housekeeping is desirable, but full training will be given.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
